Clinical Architecture

Clinical Architecture was founded in 2007 by industry veterans, clinicians, and informatics experts to deliver innovative solutions that maximize the effectiveness of healthcare. We work with leading organizations including four of the top five health systems, EHR/HIE vendors, the Joint Commission, the CDC, and others to solve challenges around healthcare data quality, interoperability, and clinical documentation.

COVID-19 Interoperability Alliance
The COVID-19 Interoperability Alliance is a collaborative effort between healthcare industry stakeholders to provide a collection of value sets for clinical, demographic, and administrative concepts relating to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our objective is to provide these resources, free of charge, to anyone in the healthcare community that can leverage them to identify, understand, and monitor COVID-19 information patterns.

Clinical information relevant to COVID-19 continues to surface and evolve at a rapid pace. Access to terminologies and value sets can be a challenge to track down and utilize.

The COVID-19 Interoperability Alliance provides a hub for healthcare information to enable public and private organizations to quickly and easily identify, monitor, and measure data relevant to COVID-19. to further the rapid utilization of clinical information relevant to COVID-19.

In collaboration with Logica Health, MITRE, Regenstrief Institute and others in the informatics community, the Alliance provides an open environment where, collectively, participants can create, evolve and share meaningful, interoperable value sets.
