Dan Dixon’s career has been a commitment to improving and empowering communities through the intersection of the private and public sectors, spanning law, government and political affairs, business creation, private and public finance and international and corporate affairs. He has led the development of major government departments and national investment banking and non-profit organizations, while successfully leading efforts to build significant other business opportunities and addressing numerous complex community issues. He is Founder of Global to Local and was founding Chair of the Board. He served for 8 years as Trustee of Central Washington University and 8 years as Trustee of the Seattle Public Library system where he served a two- year term as Board President. He was named 2014 Father of the Year by the American Diabetes Association and received the 2015 Community Champion Award by Friendship Circle which focuses on severally disabled and marginalized children in our communities.
