Paul Ahlstrom is a venture investor, entrepreneur and author. Along with his wife Jenny, Paul co-founded the CrowdCare Foundation which sponsors innovative patient centric support and research programs for chronic and terminal diseases including multiple myeloma, ALS and Coronavirus. Paul’s day job is an entrepreneur and investor. Over his career, Paul has raised and managed over $1 billion in venture capital funds and directly participated in more than 150 venture capital investments. Paul has represented his investment funds on many boards including the boards of Ancestry.com, VidAngel, Senforce, SpaceMonkey, Converus, ParityPay, Twenty, and Convert.com.
Paul is the author of the popular startup book, Nail It Then Scale It. He received his B.A. in Communications from Brigham Young University and holds an honorary doctorate from Netanya Academic College in Israel. He previously served on the Advisory Boards of Google Launchpad, Motorola’s Visionary Research Board, University of Utah Tech commercialization office advisory board and BYU’s Rollins Entrepreneurship Center.
