Join John Kim, Executive Director of Pacific Hospital Preservation & Development Authority for this roundtable about how pre-existing health inequities are getting laid bare, and in worse cases getting amplified, by the COVID-19 pandemic response. John will lead a discussion about using lessons learned from before and during the crisis to inform future efforts to address health inequity as the new normal is established after the crisis abates.
John Kim is the Executive Director of Pacific Hospital Preservation & Development Authority. His prior two leadership positions were as the Executive Director of Seattle Jobs Initiative and the Chief Operating Officer at Northwest Regional Primary Care Association. Born and raised in Pennsylvania, he earned his bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College and law degree from New York University. A resident of the metropolitan Seattle since 1997, John has served on a variety of boards including those of: Community Center for Education Results, Financial Empowerment Network, Seattle Jobs Initiative, Dale Turner Family YMCA, Shoreline Breakfast Rotary, and Northwest Community Health Education and Simulation Center.
