Office Hours are conducted by Cambia Grove Sounding Board Members to provide one-on-one appointments with startups and entrepreneurs working toward health care transformation. There are four one-on-one time slots, 30-minutes each.

Bill is a tenured regulatory and compliance attorney in addition to being an investor with many experiences leading health care startups.
Bio: Bill Waller is the Vice Chair and Chair Elect of Wings, the Medical Technology AngelsTM, an early stage angel investment group for healthcare start-ups in the Northwest. Bill is a senior medical product executive, expert compliance, privacy and FDA regulatory attorney with over twenty years’ success in developing and leading regulatory, compliance, privacy and legal teams. Bill currently is a practical, skilled and sought after outside counsel and part-time general counsel, serving multiple clients in the life sciences. Bill also serves as the part-time CEO and Board of Directors member for the start-up medical technology company, Monitor Mask, Inc., while and after serving as Varian Medical System’s Lead Counsel for the Seattle site and Head of Global Regulatory Law. Prior to Varian, Bill was VP of Ethics and Compliance and Chief Privacy Officer for Seattle-based biotech Dendreon, and prior to that, VP of Ethics and Compliance for the device division of Novartis.
Early in his career, he served in senior health care roles in the federal government and with leading FDA law firms, including Covington & Venable, where he advised about advertising, compliance, approvals and regulatory matters. His government service includes serving as Majority Counsel for the US House of Representatives Oversight Subcommittee with jurisdiction over FDA, which led efforts in the first successful use of the Congressional Review Act repealing federal regulations. Bill is a corporate advisor to a few medical technology startups involved in medical scans, pharmacy and privacy. He received a JD with honors from Harvard Law School, and a BA with highest honors from Colgate University. He is an Eagle Scout and former ethics instructor with the Boy Scouts of America. Bill lives in the Seattle area with his wife and, during college breaks, his two children.
