Deputy for Clinical Strategy and Operations for the Division of Clinical Quality and Care Transformation, Health Care Authority

Mary Fliss serves as the Deputy for Clinical Strategy and Operations for the Division of Clinical Quality and Care Transformation (CQCT) at the Health Care Authority.  The CQCT Division has the purpose of designing and implementing clinical policy; conducting oversight and monitoring of all HCA clinically related programs; and communicating with stakeholders, providers, plans, and delivery system partners on clinical activities and issues. Mary works to assure the strategy, systems and infrastructure are in place to achieve the Division’s purpose. Mary is also a Clinical Instructor for health policy in the University of Washington Executive MPH program.
  
Mary holds a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Minnesota where she interned at St. Mary’s Hospital Trust, London. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Santa Clara University.
