Cambia Grove Welcomes Maura Little as Assistant Director of Partnerships


Today, the Cambia Grove announced that Maura Little has joined the organization as Assistant Director of Partnerships. Maura will lead the development and retention of community partners.

Maura brings over a decade of experience building diverse coalitions to drive transformative change. She has led campaigns across a number of sectors including; health care, technology, business and energy. Prior to joining Cambia Grove, Maura served the Washington state Department of Commerce under Governor Jay Inslee as the Director of Life Sciences and Global Health Development. In this leadership role Maura worked with stakeholders to support the development and expansion of the life science industry and global health sector. Additionally, Maura helped establish the Cancer Research Endowment Authority and advised Governor Inslee on ways to increase life science and global health development. Importantly, she’s served as an Advisory Panel member to Cambia Grove since inception.

Prior to her role in the Department of Commerce, Maura served as the Washington state Director of Government Relations for the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (CAN). There she worked with the Washington state legislature and Insurance Commissioner to ensure patient access and safety was being addressed during the implementation of the Affordable Care Act.

“Maura has immense understanding of the health care landscape and will be instrumental in furthering the Cambia Grove mission,” said Nicole Bell, Executive Director of the Cambia Grove. “She’s already been a terrific, hands-on Advisor to us and now will join our team to continue to build upon our foundation of connecting people to catalyze innovation across the Cascadia region.”

Maura has a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the University of Washington. She currently lives on Vashon Island with her husband Reeves and two sons Rudy and Baker.
